Preach the acceptable year of the Lord

August 20th 2020 10:22 am / 12:44 noon /7:44 am Aug 21, 2020

Somehow this scripture came to mind and it is important. This is the 1st time the lord Jesus Christ walks into the synagogue and reads from Isaiah concerning himself. If you read what is highlighted in yellow, blue or red it is important! He came to heal the broken hearted, preach the gospel to the poor and to set at liberty them that are bruised. Those people hurt by toxic tongues and the evil doers of this world.  He came to preach and set free those entangled in deception and lies of the devil. Once the son has set you free you are free indeed. Example would be the binding & loosening. If something is set free from deception and gained in heaven it is gained on earth as well. If something is bound in deception and deceived it may just vary well be lost.

This 13 year old gay woman need salvation. Please pray for her people. That is pasture David Lynn.

"Binding and loosing is a Jewish legal phrase giving authority to someone to determine whether something is allowed or forbidden."

Christ will tell many to go away as he knows not whom they are. Matthew 7.21-23

"Preaching the gospel would be the way to open the kingdom of heaven to all believers and shut it against unbelievers. Peter, preaching at Pentecost in Acts 2:14–40, opened those doors. Jesus intended Peter and the other apostles to continue His ministry of bringing the kingdom of God to earth by preaching the gospel"

You know it is said the body of Christ has many members but God highly esteems a contrite humbled spirit. At the same time he vomits out of his mouth the Luke warm Church/Members. So its not any easy cross to bear! Christ said he also came to divide. Luke 12:51 (ALSO / SEE Luke 4:17-21 below)

In mind recently and somehow important as well I've notice a street preacher Ruben Isreal with a talk show and while he seems a bit harsh at least he is not Luke warm. The Church/Body of Christ needs to wake up. Ruben is addressing some of these issues on his show. I've heard Ruben has some 33-40 years of Street Preaching experience. So he has seen a lot.

OCCUPY UNTIL I COME (LUKE 19:13

What does occupy til I come mean as Ruben emphasized this verse.

And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said to them, Occupy till I come.

Matthew Henry's Concise Commentary

19:11-27 this parable is like that of the talents, Mt 25. Those that are called to Christ, he furnishes with gifts needful for their business; and from those to whom he gives power, he expects service. The manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal, 1 Co 12:7. And as everyone has received the gift, so let him minister the same, 1 Peter 4:10. The account required, resembles that in the parable of the talents; and the punishment of the avowed enemies of Christ, as well as of false professors, is shown. The principal difference is, that the pound given to each seems to point out the gift of the gospel, which is the same to all who hear it; but the talents, distributed more or less, seem to mean that God gives different capacities and advantages to men, by which this one gift of the gospel may be differently improved.

I watched this show and it was interesting and a little bit in your face sort to speak. Ruben makes the case that the preaching should go forth first and other things are to follow. I've watched his more updated video recently as well. Some people feel that street preaching is not as effective as preachers preaching in a building perhaps. I think it is effective. The word of God says that people are going to wake up to the judgment. Some people are going to wake up only to be damned to hell and face shame and torment. Others are going to wake up to everlasting life with Christ. The gospel makes it clear to evangelize the word of God. That is what is important. The Body of Christ has many members as it is written. The word of God is a two edged sword.  Ruben speaks of many issues here and takes questions as well.

Luke 4:17-21 King James Version

"17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,

18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

20 And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.

21 And he began to say unto them, this day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears."

You must be born again
