God chosen foolish things of the world to confound the wise

April 29, 2021 9:44 am / 12:44 noon

Couple of essential biblical sermon teaching and outreach. 1 Corinthians 1:27 as well here.

For those who have ears let him hear

The prosperity gospel is not from God and unbiblical. Kenya sermon excerpt..

  ( of the devil )

Matthew 23:28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.”

Justin Peters - Cultic Doctrines, Pagan Practices, And False Prophets.. Justine

Incredible that

John MacArthur understands

Regarding the prosperity gospel

Matthew 13:12

For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.”

God looks at the Heart and he searches the heart. Will I find ten righteous? How about five? Only eight people were saved in Noah’s day.

Prosperity in the way that God is the provider which is true. Matthew 6:25 -34 But certain people have turned the house of God into a den of thieves. John 2:16 For those who have ears let them hear. Jesus being the biblical Jewish Jesus Christ once said that if people try to hold onto this life they will lose it. Look at the apostles they did not live a life of prosperity. That means good health, expensive cars and earthly mansions and all forms of worldliness. Not that some of these things especially health should not be desired. Jesus himself was a  suffering servant and rejected of men.  It pleased God to crush him . You know Jesus said that many people worship him in vain because they have God on their lips but their hearts are far from him. He also said that those that are rejected, afflicted and poor will not only have the gospel preached on to them but they shall inherit the earth. So if you look at the apostles/disciples even evangelists or street preachers that might say that the apostles purchased a sword to defend themselves but the truth is most of them except for John the apostle did not die glorious natural deaths. Here’s a list for you to examine. Jesus said to pick up your cross or would that be work salvation for you? The truth is work salvation? What!!!

See : 2 Timothy 4.4

The rebellion of man towards the true God massive..

My kingdom comes not by observation. Greater is he that is in you than in the world.

How did the 12 disciples die?

1.      Andrew = Crucified on an X-shaped cross

2.      Bartholomew or Nathanael = Flayed alive with knives

3.      James the elder = First apostle martyred

4.      James the lesser = Sawn in pieces

5.      John = Died of natural causes on the isle of Patmos

6.      Judas Iscariot = Hung himself

7.      Jude or Thaddeus = Killed with arrows

8.      Matthew or Levi = Martyred in Ethiopia

9.      Peter = Crucified upside-down on a cross

10.    Philip = Died by hanging

11.    Simon the Zealot = Died a martyrs death

12.    Thomas = Killed with a spear

Can you imagine the excuses on the day of judgement “especially” by those teaching the prosperity gospel.  The word of God tells us to have nothing to do with the works of darkness and the truth is so many people do have everything to do with it and they actually serve two masters and make excuses at every junction point. 10:22 am

Proverbs 14:2 “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”

“In the same way that a Ponzi scheme or chain letter initially succeeds but eventually collapses” the prosperity gospel and it’s proponents are members of a pyramid scheme that takes advantage of people and rewards charlatans as such people are trying to come into Christ kingdom by a different door and have delighted in indulgence.
They can’t see the trees for the forest1 Corinthians 1:2 / John 2:16

This is a good teaching below. It’s true of course and can be more elaborated upon. Do you know those things that men highly esteem are an abomination unto God. Can you grip that reality?

1 Corinthians 1:27 King James Version

“27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;”
