Pollution of Idols and exile for the house of Israel

GREAT ABOMINATIONS HAVE BEEN COMMITTED

"The Book of Ezekiel describes itself as the words of the Ezekiel ben-Buzi, a priest living in exile in the city of Babylon between 593 and 571 BC. ... In 597, following a rebellion against Babylon, Ezekiel was among the large group of Judeans taken into captivity by the Babylonians."

"Ezekiel was said to be already active as a prophet while in the Land of Israel, and he retained this gift when he was exiled with Jehoiachin and the nobles of the country to Babylon."

A little history of Jehoiachin King of Judah.

"Once he became king he continued in the pagan practices of his father. Instead of leading people back into the true worship of God he chose to continue leading them in the wrong direction. King Jehoiachin had a short reign that lasted for only three months and one week. God had to remove this king from power because he didn’t want to repent of his sins. He was alive when his grandfather Josiah ruled the kingdom."

Eziekel spoke to a people God had exiled because of their rebellion against him and it is said a lot of his messages were judgments for sins committed but he gave the people hope to as they were without a land of their own now.

"Ezekiel (active 6th century B.C.) was a Hebrew priest and prophet. He held that each man is responsible for his own acts. Little is known about Ezekiel's personal life. ... Ezekiel was exiled to Babylonia with King Jehoiachin in 597 B.C. or shortly thereafter. "

"Before the first surrender of Jerusalem, Ezekiel was a functioning priest probably attached to the Jerusalem Temple staff. He was among those deported in 597 to Babylonia, where he was located at Tel-abib on the Kebar canal (near Nippur)."

"Ezekiel lived among the Jewish exiles in Babylon at a settlement along the river Chebar called Tel-abib (Ezekiel 3:15), less than one hundred miles south of Babylon. The invading Babylonians brought about ten thousand Jews to the village in 597 BC, including Ezekiel and the last king of Judah, Jehoiachin (2 Kings 24:8–14)."

The the book of Ezekiel opening page 1 - 3, God shows the great prophet a vision of God.

 Ezekiel 1 King James Version
1 Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.

2 In the fifth day of the month, which was the fifth year of king Jehoiachin's captivity,

3 The word of the Lord came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the Lord was there upon him.
This is a long reading from The Book Of Ezekiel. Reading it by one self is beneficial rather than listening to someone else read it. We are told to be studied and show ourselves approved unto God. In this long reading there is a mighty vision where God has shown the prophet Ezekiel visions of God and what he see's, knows and what abomination have been committed whereas they have filled the land with violence and they provoked the most high  God to anger & wrath. God does not hear them now. He is very angry at them and foretells their destruction and desolation.  There is talk of Angels being Cherubim Angels. There is a great vision of "eye's" and beasts and Wings, faces, etc.  Men say/think the lord has forsaken the earth and see's not. Men are defiled with all sorts of idols and abominations are great.  In turn it of course  griefs the spirit of the most high. It pollutes the sanctuary of the lord.  Men are sometimes narrow minded and very wicked. Spiritual fornication is a serious violation  against the covenant God made with them. Ezekiel lived among the Jewish exiles in Babylon at a settlement along the river Chebar.

The lord is holy and his glory is profound as these Cheri-bum  Angels glorify the most high God. The vision given to the prophet Ezekiel is colorful and dreadful at times. God instructed the destruction of their wicked defiled and fallen cities/place or perhaps Temple because they have done great abominations in his sight. So great are these abominations that God had to act and he set his face against them and the wrath came forth as prophesied. Again the prophet seems to be shown a vision that God in his Kingdom of God/heaven is all knowing and he knows men's thoughts and knows which men take counsel against him. He knows of their defiled worship of other strange Gods or idols. Nothing is hidden from God but men may think they are not seen by God. They worshiped the SUN GOD. Other God's before him. Graven Images before him are all over the walls of their defiled places. Could be their temples. There are men that give "wicked counsel". God knows all things that comes into the mind of the house of Israel/mans minds.  This was read from the book of Ezekiel. I read a long portion of this book.

Pollution of Idols and exile for the house of Israel for these people and surrounding nations is what this book entails. God  exiled the Israelites because of their rebellion and great sin but he wanted to correct their wickedness and rebellion.

GOD instructs the prophet to prophecy against these wicked men/city of the house of Israel who were the Jewish exiles in Babylon. The slain were multiplied and the streets were full of blood of the slain. The lord God said he will bring a sword again them and drive them out.  God has foretold their destruction as they have done after the manner of the heathen that are all around them. Who was there in that day around them? Apart from their Pharisees and other religious leaders The empires that brought in other Gods and conquered them and polluted them/led them astray to do those things that are wicked. Sometimes a mix of different people/cultures that migrated into Israel and the Babylonian cities/land.  I would think. Spiritual fornication and breaking of covenant whereby pollution of the the temples of God/his statutes has God set his wrath in fury against them.  The Angels are great that glorify God and God is EXTREMELY GLORIFIED AND HOLY/GREATER. Sins are exposed and naked.

It's important to note that God has caused great Kings to fall as it is written in various places of scripture. In this case the destruction came upon men, woman and children. There is talk about the plaques in scripture God brought upon Pharaoh of Egypt through Moses. He chose these Jewish people/nation and expected them to not defile themselves with idols of every type but people stray and fell away by fornication and temptation as they were led into abominations so great that it brought God to anger and wrath.

This is a long reading and there is a great vision given. Long story.

Idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
