Isaiah 66 Poor and Contrite Spirit

2 Timothy 3:16 King James Version (KJV)

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Isaiah 55: This is a profound reading from the gospel of the lord Jesus Christ.

God is talking about the earth and the heavens being his footstool and is asking a question saying:

1.) Where is the house you build for me, and where is my rest?

God highly esteems a contrite and humble spirit who is obedient and obeys him and his doctrine being the written inspired word of God. He find it attest-able and an abominations when people insist to go their own way and disregard his word and instructions. They that worship idols are in essence committing an abomination to him. They have chosen to go their own way at their own destruction. He called but nobody heard. Nobody obeys him. The man with the contrite humble spirit is highly esteemed by God because he listens & obeys the lord with fear and trembling. He puts his faith in his written words and the relationship directly.

People build huge worshiping places that are very glamorous and very expensive but his house is not there. It is written God does not dwell in temples made out of human hands. But he did create everything seen. His house/temple is in YOU. Christ said the Kingdom of God comes not by observation. It is in YOU. He said if you believe in him and accept him as lord and savior then he and his father will come and live in YOU. The importance is the direct instructions of his word/gospel and the direct relationship between the believer and the holy God of hosts.

The gospel tells us that there are demons behind all idols. Yet, people say they are believers and disobey the written word of God. They disobey the second command.
Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

This is why we are reminded that we are the temple of the holy spirit and we were purchased with a price. Every hair was counted and whom formed you in the womb is GOD so abortion is MURDER. Now again these people that go to these worship places and offer all sorts of things like incense which God says he hates including worshiping idols which he says in an abomination, as he reminds us that his hands created everything that is created in the heavens and the earth as they are his foot stole and these people with their minds seared are deceived and in serious error/sin and lost. And yet those people who go to these huge glamorous worship places think they are justified doing these abominable things. Yet God looks/favors at a poor man probably despised by the world who is contrite in spirit and worships Gods in spirit & truth directly. All these relics and sacrifice worship and yet they are committing abominations, sin, and have chosen their own way. Who is teaching them these things? Those who say they know GOD and have God on their lips/Satin's Angels of righteousness deceiving multitudes of people who are far from him in heart/spirit & truth. In fact, God say that their souls/their spirits delight in these abominations. God say he will bring fear to them and destroy them if they choose their own ways and not to listen when he calls. I know he is merciful. So God is saying he in fact did call them but none did answer. Who is it that did not answer? The unsaved, the deceived, the reprobates, the false teachers, those to have gone their own way by delusions most likely of false pagan worship. God says when he spake they did not hear! How could they not hear? They don't understand the word of God and they reject the truth committing sin continually as they reject the true gospel of the glory of the lord Jesus Christ.

Truly, the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. (2 Corinthians 4:4; Revelation 12:9)

So God is saying their choices is what he delights NOT in. Many are called few are chosen. Why?? Narrow is the way that leads to Heaven and WIDE/BROAD is the way that leads to destruction. Bluntly put the world is deceived just as it is written it would be and many have chosen to be deceived and go their own way.

Here is a commentary other explanation. (HERE)

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9 KJV

Now  here is another commentary: The  Henry Mathew commentary which I did read as he gives a profound viewpoint that relates to what I said but he brings in Israel and the Jewish people, the messiah and the whole nine yards as a figure of speech. In a sense ancient biblical times is applied to Isaiah 66  going forward including all the ramifications of the matter at hand is laid out and what it means.

Parable of the hired Labourers

The parable of the hired labors as some call it the parable of the workers is an excellent bible passage/parable to ponder. Christ is the only name given unto man to be saved and I can witness to you he is real. If you see the parable as in the bible on the left of this page on a standard computer you can read it and enlarge it but clicking on it. But I have provided te link to the parable bible below online.

For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard.

Its inced-able we can understand these parables.
Look at Mathew 20.16 And it is important to read and understand. ((Matthew 20))

One great parable is the parable of the laborers. It is complex and has a deep rich meaning. This parable lays out the time issue of both Jews and Gentiles. It tells us A LOT!

"For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard."

And the primary lesson was that the reward of the kingdom is not of debt, but of grace.  This is a good one to understand.

In the past I looked at another passage that in a way reflects the same idea with a twist, One soweth another reapeth
