The underlying motives of those who worship the prosperity gospel

Do you know some people spend a lifetime learning and their experiences particularly if some people as myself and others like myself have learned in their life because of struggles being trials and tribulations. I am well aware of the prosperity gospel and exactly what it is. There are people that have been raised on such. It’s just like somebody who’s deceived and no amount of reasoning works with them. When you try to open their eyes they question everything being especially the messenger. But what is their main motive as a Christian. Is it really to bring people to Christ or is it to bring people to the prosperity gospel. You know as they imply word of faith as can speak things into existence and you can live your best life now. Gods wants to give you all the desires of your heart. Make you rich. That’s the prosperity gospel. This is not the gospel. You know I got to confess that one particular experienced brother in Christ warned me of this. There are those that know this but different brothers sisters too perhaps have experienced different things. So when the response is not to their liking or they think they’re above it they are reluctant to reply to it accordingly/they don’t. Or they take it that you’re being condescending to them so they just keep questioning you. There is an underlying motive there and it’s to bring people to the prosperity gospel but they don’t see it as such.

Well you don’t really believe the Bible they will say. Thank you for Justin Peters and people like him because they/he sheds light where there is darkness. We love our brothers and sisters in Christ but charlatans come in great numbers. God becomes a business. I’ve heard radio interviews of people that followed the prosperity gospel. One particular guy about four years ago when I was driving around was telling his testimony. He was a pasture and he said that people just became numbers in the church. We’re talking about the Christian church where they were not according to him ministering to those souls, those people anymore as it was just about the numbers. If the blind lead the blind both will fall into a pit. Another thing I learned amongst different Christians that sometimes they have too come from the prosperity gospel and/or some sort of Megachurch system. But some of them know it and they have come out of that system. If they go to any physical building being a church system then they make sure that it sticks to the word of God and hopefully ministers to people properly. You put your faith in the biblical Lord Jesus Christ and not in you Pasture let alone your brothers and sisters in Christ. I reiterate John 2:16 which is given to me over and over. Are you really serving Christ or are you serving God and Mammon? With all love and may the Lord be blessed.

   Is it a coincidence that it appears to be related or the same thing in essence of preaching a non-lukewarm gospel. There are those that will run away. Even if they’re biblical Christians. They don’t like the message and they want to have their ears tickled. There are many trickeries in life. No wonder Christ said there’s not even one.

So I’ve posted my comments here that I “had” commented/replied on his pages blog. There seem to be no interest in replying to them. Especially particularly these last two postings. If you want to know what he said in his blog you can go visit his page.  Again this is not to bring division but where John 2:16 is concerned there are divisions regardless. Who made these divisions? Who’s been preaching the prosperity gospel! I’ve  touched on addressing such an issue briefly before on this page here. There’s also another blog here. I know Justin Peters said that why he does what he does is to fish people out of the hands of wolves. I could imagine if it is possible and if it would be as such the excuses on the day of judgment. It will be more tolerable for Sodom & Gomorrah than such people. Loving Jesus is not serving both God and Mammon blindly.

I think this is a great message and what you described is called being a hypocrite. regardless God knows the heart and we have to be humble before him. Instructed us to love one another. Christians appear to be a bad example especially in these end times.

There is an unnamed Bible scholar whom once said you don’t go to church you are it. I’m not putting down biblical church. Some people worship on the Sabbath and not Sunday. Forsake not the assembling. If that’s your prerogative that’s all right but there are groups of people who assemble in homes and even street church.  But in essence you should be a doer of the word of God. Your heart needs to be convicted. There are people that are deceived and no amount of preaching reaches them. 

Concerning preachers or street preachers sure some will show the one or two that they brought to Christ but how many did they lose. There are stubborn people and many of them are seniors that say they will die in whatever faith they were raised even if it’s counterfeit or a lie out of the pit of hell. A woman once said you stay on the sideline and you pray for them.

I will draw all men unto onto myself. The italics word  "men". While we can go look at the various translations I read about a Bible scholar one time who studied this and applied it to universal salvation. Well he's the lamb that takes away the sins of the world. Without the shedding of blood there could be no forgiveness of sin. Like Moses lift up the serpent in the desert he will be lifted up as well.   

You know I got to note that if they thought it would be sin they would have put sin in italics.

What I found and makes sense

“The italicized men in the text shows that it is not in the original, but reads, “I will draw 'all' unto Me,” i.e., all sorts and conditions of men, all classes of men, out of every tribe, tongue, people, nation, and from every age to the end of the world.” 11/13/16

1ST PETER 2:24

You know you said all men are not drawn onto him and you wish that they were so they could easily be born again quicker. That could be debatable. Many are called and few are chosen. He died for the sins of the world as you said before past, present and future. Well if people aren’t saved and aren’t forgiven than anybody who ever lived most likely will stand The Great White Throne Judgment. I wouldn’t know about children though. Theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

I do feel that being a Christian as you know yourself David is not only about head knowledge but it’s about the heart and really doing it. Really living it. Easier said than done but he is the finisher of our faith.

I’ll bet some of the martyrs of Jesus didn’t have a chance to study scripture. Some may have.

Another explanation John 12:32: “This verse has been spiritualized to say that Jesus' death will draw all men unto Himself. This verse taken in context is talking about the type of death that Jesus would die (v. 33). The lifting up is speaking of being lifted up from the earth and suspended on a cross in crucifixion.”

Why the prosperity gospel is wrong. Charlatans have realized that people are vulnerable and will give great amounts of money to be told what they want to be told and for their ears to be tickled.

The reprobate mind 

In conclusion this again is not to say there may not be translation errors in the gospel. What matters is the integrity of the matter/issue at hand. I know there is a mutual agreement of the infallibility of the gospel but the matter is as written in John 2:16. When God (I AM) sets his face against the wickedness of this world people being some believers hold unto this world of material wealth and healing deception embracing rebellion against the true Gods. They now call evil good and they don’t see. They think they see. Money is a demonic entity unto the lord. You know that’s what in retrospect was being addressed in twice the child of hell as yourselves. Know the times at hand. This time is not like other times. There is a Great falling Away from principals in true holy righteousness. 10:44 am Sunday March 14/2021
