This scripture below is profound and deep. Yes, Paul was a real Apostle. When/if you read and comprehend this scripture below and you can't feel nor sense the holiness of the lord Jesus Christ and of the eternal God-head then you are seriously lost or blind. God knows the heart and those things people do that are wicked. He is the witness for the saved and true believer. Nothing is hidden to him.
"In this chapter we may observe, I. The preface and introduction to the whole epistle, to v. 16. II. A description of the deplorable condition of the Gentile world, which begins the proof of the doctrine of justification by faith, here laid down at v. 17. The first is according to the then usual formality of a letter, but intermixed with very excellent and savoury expressions."
Reading from Romans 1
1 Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle,
separated unto the gospel of God,
2 (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy
scriptures,)
3 Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the
seed of David according to the flesh;
4 And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the
spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:
5 By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to
the faith among all nations, for his name:
6 Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ:
7 To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints:
Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus
Christ.
8 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your
faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.
9 For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel
of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my
prayers;
10 Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a
prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you.
11 For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual
gift, to the end ye may be established;
12 That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual
faith both of you and me.
13 Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I
purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have
some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles.
14 I am debtor
both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians;
both to the wise, and to the unwise.
Comment:
He is thankful regardless! Amen
15 So, as much as in me is, I am ready to
preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the
power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the
Greek.
17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to
faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
18
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all
ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in
unrighteousness;
Comment: Line 18 is important. Why? Because it is revealed the wrath of God
abides on all unrighteousness of men. Such men/woman hold the truth
in unrighteousness. They make the truth in vain. They don't care
about true righteousness in God. They make their own truth which is
of course buried and based in unrighteousness and filth. Only the real truth in Christ can set you free.
19 Because that
which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
Comment:
In other words, they are without excuse although they have
hundreds of excuses that leads them astray. God put/wrote the
truth in their hearts. They are created in his image!
20 For the
invisible things of him
from the creation of the world
are clearly seen,
being understood by the things that are made,
even his eternal power and Godhead;
so that they are without excuse:
Comment: They know/should know! they talk about/teach evolution/lies. In line 20 it tells us exactly what they do. The invisible things from the creation of the world are clearly seen. By the things made it is clear that God exists but they have an ulterior motive. They don't submit to the eternal God but do submit to ignorance/the world and go about as if the true God is none existent. They know but suppress!
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not
as God, neither were thankful;
but became vain in their imaginations,
and their foolish heart was darkened.
Comment: So, in line 21 it tells us their sins and how they ignore the
truth of God. It sounds like it's talking about deceived people and
gay people. It tells us their foolish heart was darkened.
22 Professing themselves to be wise, Wherefore became fools,
Comment:
What a heavy statement. The word of God is saying they think of
themselves to be wise. But the word of God outcast them as
fool's.
23 And changed the glory of the
uncorruptible God
into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds,
and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
Comment: In line 23 it further tells us what these people do. They've
changed the
glory of God into
an image like corruptible man. It's making the implications what
they've changed it like animals. Many people have served the
creature rather than the true creator who is blessed forever as
the gospel tells us. There are a lot of idol worshipers in the
world. They bow before images or idols being statues and even kiss
their feet. They don't have eyes to see nor ears to hear nor do
they have the spirit of God.
24 God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of
their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and
served the creature more than the Creator, who is
blessed for ever. Amen.
Comment: Line 25 hits the nail with a hammer square on. They change the
truth of the true eternal God into a lie. They serve the creature.
They serve the Beast. The true creator since he is very holy is
blessed forever. But their focus is on the creature and on the
world of sin. They reap to perish!
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections:
for even their women did change the natural use into that which
is against nature:
Comment: In line 26 we know its people that are gay. It could be people committing
bestiality. People prostituting themselves. But it tells us that
it is gays and lesbians the commit these gross sins against the
Lord. You have to read in-between the lines.
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman,
burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that
which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of
their error which was meet.
Comment: Line 27 tells us it is men burning for the lust of other men. There is a recompence for their error. Sin brings forth death. Spiritual death. That being the second death. Unless they repent they will likewise all perish.
28
And even as they did not like to retain God in their
knowledge,
God gave them over to a
reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
Comment:
Line 28 tells us God gave them over to a reprobate mind. He cut
them off. They're of the world and spiteful sinners. They are not children
of God. They may feel they are but no! They deceive their own
souls!
29
Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness,
covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit,
malignity; whisperers,
Comment:
Now in line 29 it extends and elaborates on the sins of such
people. Such people are full of worldliness and all unrighteousness! They are rebellious to the letter. They are deceitful. They
are full of envy and murder. You can murder someone with your
speech. Toxic evil tongue. Man/woman will not live on bread &
water alone. Of course if the book of Romans is addressed to the Romans that is
acknowledged. But so many follow in the footsteps of such people and are on the way to hell
as fast as possible. This book addresses the wicked gentile world
too.
30
Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors
of evil things, disobedient to parents,
Comment: Line 30 is a list of their offences. They hate God. They are
spiteful. They're proud of their own evil righteousness/seen in
their own eyes as good and their sins are stockpiling. They have
glory in their sins. I sometimes remember what the Apostle Peter
said. He said the dog returns to his own
vomit. It’s almost like a drunk throwing up then going
back to drinking and back to sinning and then throwing up
again. It's an endless cycle. They are of the lost world of
sinners. You can preach to them and pray for them. They are
some very wicked.
Listening is futile. WAKE UP!
31 Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection,
implacable, unmerciful:
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
Comment:
Now in line 32 it tells us that such people are worthy of death.
What kind of death is it saying/implying? The second death. They
are worthy of eternal damnation. If it be eternal or stub &
root ash God knows. They earned it/deserve it. They are perishing
and they don't even know it. They are so proud of their unrighteous living and their deceitful lifestyle that they
deserve the second death. They have pleasure in sin and what they
do is loaded with rebellion and abominations. They don't love the
true living God but have other gods before that God and they are
ignorant to their own deception and their own darkness. They
practice falsehoods too. Narrow is the way that leads to Salvation
and broad is the way that leads to destruction. There is a way
that appears right onto men/woman but in the end it is the way of death. People ad-whore the spirit of the
world and push away the true God only to reap the world and perish
yet they fail to see or hear.
We live in a demonic world that is fallen. The words of Christ are living truth. There is no gain in reaping the world and perishing. The will of God is for you to come to salvation and listen/believe upon his son the lord Jesus Christ whom is the word of God. In the beginning GOD!
Are you really SAVED? Wake up NOW!!! Get saved!

Footnotes: You have to remember there was a lot of evil in the time of Christ and thereafter upon the earth. The Roman Empire was ruling part of the world and there were various empires too. But the book of Romans was addressing the gentile world too and the wickedness of it. There were Christians believers in Christ day/thereafter. Since that time many events happened throughout history such as world war #1 & #2 and the 20th century has been the most sinful and bloody of all of them. It was written that it would be that way in the end times/days. God gave his only begotten son being the lord Jesus Christ so you can be saved. The world is full of rebellion and sin. There is no other name given onto man in which he can be saved. There will be a judgment just as it is written. We are living in the last days.
