Synopsis of Revelation

January 3, 2020 5.47 pm.

Taking a look at the Book of Revelation. Doing so in the King James Bible. Page 1145. So first is the greetings to the seven churches and there is scripture that says Christ Lives and was dead but he is risen and lives forevermore. So we got the 7 churches and it goes into all that and then we have a Book meaning "sealed" with the 7th seals. Then we have the trumpets and we have the Thunder and all the imagery within the scriptures. Then it seems to get into the plaques and vials. Angels are involved and instructed. By the time we get to Revelation 16.17 it talks about the woman and a scarlet beast. Then the  mystery of the woman and the Beast is explained. So it explains Babylon XX (Mystery) in Revelation 17. Revelation 18 is concerned with the fall of Babylon. Then in Revelation 19 it tells us Gods judgments are true. We get into the marriage of the supper lamb. Then we get into Revelation 20 it tells us Satan will be bound for a thousand years. Then in Revelation 21 it tells us about the new heavens and the new earth. So why did I go into this short basic synopsis? Because I want to know when the Millennium comes as in Revelation 20 will it be with the "NOW" existing earth/heavens. But in Revelation 21 it tells me that the old earth  has passed away as in Johns prophecy. And John saw a New Jerusalem coming down from heaven. Then Revelation gets into explicit scenery again. Such as the pure "River of Life/etc." Then Revelation 22.12 there is the Messiah saying he's coming quickly as he is the Alpha and the Omega. He even says he sent his angel to testify these things. And that's the end of Revelation being Revelation 22. Now then in revelation 22.18 there is a warning not to add nor take away from the book of this prophecy.

Okay Satan gets bound and the first resurrection is after the Thousand Year reign. (1st resurrection) - Those dead in the grave not blessed to be raised for eternal life or judgment yet. Then it gets into the judgment of the devil and Revelation 20 mentions the souls of those who gave their testimony for Jesus Christ. Then Revelation 20.7 it talks about the lake of fire and brimstone. Then Revelation 20.11 talks about the face of him who sits on the throne. It even says the earth and the heaven "fled away" for there was no place for them. And in Revelation 22.12 its talking about the dead being both small & great  being judged with the books open. Matter fact that tells us that death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. So as we come up to Revelation 21 noting whom spoke this prophecy the new heavens and earth have come about and it tells us the tabernacle of God is with men. So the question is if Christ is going to rule the nations with a rod of iron on this  present earth or on the new earth. Can seem a little bit complicated.

You see Revelation 20 tells us the rest of the dead won't be raised until the Thousand Year reign is over. It tells us that those reigning with Jesus  Christ for the millennium are blessed and will be priests to God and they will reign with him/Christ for 1000 years. Its very strange because it just tell us after the thousand years is over and Satan is loose out of his prison that Gog and Magog will engaging in battle and have other people/nation's that number more than the sands of the sea that assists. What does that mean? This is a huge massive army/soldiers going to war against God's people/perhaps Israel. Satin is given a final go. Men have turned back to evil. Nothing in such a state will get life eternal.  So what happened appears to be after that Thousand year reign when Christ ruled/rules? It appears to be on the present earth. After this then comes the new heavens & new earth. No sea! So the question is when does the great day of the Lord come? Logic tells me that it won't be when Christ rules for the Thousand Year reign. He's not going to rule the earth in a broken format/state. So it's probably after Satan is loose and just prior to Revelation 21. But I have read before that there will be a war (spiritual war) in the heavens because the earths governments/people and Satin will oppose Christ's ruling. He will overtake all. Please remember whom the lord Jesus Christ is now as he is risen. It was Christ himself whom loosed the 7 seals. Now somewhere it says things of old will be burnt up with the old earth (fervent heat) and not ever be remembered again, Music, cars, earths luxuries, worldly ways and "things", evil. All tears will be wiped away. (Amen)

Revelation 5:5 King James Version (KJV)

"And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof."

"The New Testament calls it a day of “wrath,” a day of “visitation,” and the “great day of God Almighty” (Revelation 16:14) and refers to a still future fulfillment when God’s wrath is poured out on unbelieving Israel (Isaiah 22Jeremiah 30:1-17Joel 1-2Amos 5Zephaniah 1) and on the unbelieving world (Ezekiel 38–39Zechariah 14). The Scriptures indicate that “the day of the Lord” will come quickly, like a thief in the night (Zephaniah 1:14-152 Thessalonians 2:2), and therefore Christians must be watchful and ready for the coming of Christ at any moment."
