Nobody is promised another day. There is life in the biblical Lord Jesus Christ. 5.22 pm

As estimated.. “Nearly 150,000 people die each day around the world, according to 2017 data..”

As estimated..  “About 385,000 babies are born each day according to the UN. That adds up to more than 140 million a year. The 140 million extra babies per year join a world population projected to reach 10 billion people by 2056.”

1 Corinthians 15:35-55

Our bodies are buried in brokenness, but they will be raised in glory. They are buried in weakness, but they will be raised in strength. They are buried as natural human bodies, but they will be raised as spiritual bodies. For just as there are natural bodies, there are also spiritual bodies.”

Romans 6:4. We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life. Feb. 12, 2018

Daniel 12:2

King James Version

2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Revelation 21:4

King James Version

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

“It may not give you the confirmation you need, but here is your answer about what the Bible tells us about cremation - as best as I can tell, there is no Bible passage that attempts to give guidelines regarding acceptable burial procedures. No matter which burial practices one follows, the results are always the same: “Dust to dust, ashes to ashes." Job reiterated the final disposition of the body in Job 34:14-15: “If it were his intention and he withdrew his spirit and breath, all mankind would perish together and man would return to the dust."

“The ancient Egyptians embalmed bodies to delay decay and to prepare for the afterlife - the link is here.”

Leviticus 21:11

King James Version

11 Neither shall he go in to any dead body, nor defile himself for his father, or for his mother;

Ezekiel 18:4

King James Version

Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

John 19:38-42

Authorized (King James) Version

38 And after this Joseph of Arimathæa, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, besought Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus: and Pilate gave him leave. He came therefore, and took the body of Jesus. 39 And there came also Nicodemus, which at the first came to Jesus by night, and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pound weight. 40 Then took they the body of Jesus, and wound it in linen clothes with the spices, as the manner of the Jews is to bury. 41 Now in the place where he was crucified there was a garden; and in the garden a new sepulchre, wherein was never man yet laid. 42 There laid they Jesus therefore because of the Jews’ preparation day; for the sepulchre was nigh at hand.

Revelation 11:9

King James Version

9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.

Pondering beyond the grave …

I think it's interesting to note that the lord Jesus being the biblical Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead even though he was partly decomposed. He called him out just as many will eventually hear HIS voice. He raised other people from the dead. But he also said “Let the dead bury the dead”. He said but thou go and preach the Kingdom of GOD. When he said this he was not even crucified yet on the cross. You know I believe in biblical burial preferably as the Jews probably do it. People should show dignity for the dead bodies/people. The Bible talks about the carcasses in Mathew 24:28. As the vultures will eat those dead bodies. What a way to put it. Many people probably have a wrong image or imagination of where dead bodies go. Dust to dust. Where dead people go!  But that is not the total significance of what I am trying to say. Absent from the body present with the Lord. Absent from the body present in torment. That is it. There are many people whom believe that everybody goes to this glorious afterlife. You must be in Christ and a believer. Before Jesus there was a different method of salvation. But before the foundations of the earth were laid the biblical Lord Jesus Christ given the name Emmanuel at birth was destined to come and be born among Us. 5:21 pm

Luke 9:60

King James Version

60 Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.

Matthew 8:22 (Faith as there is life in Jesus Christ)

King James Version

22 But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.

James 2:26

King James Version

26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Ecclesiastes 6:3 (less is more.. Be content) Give the lord thanks and praise daily and be content. Some people have an abundance of wealth and are miserable. Are you bearing righteous fruits?

King James Version

3 If a man beget an hundred children, and live many years, so that the days of his years be many, and his soul be not filled with good, and also that he have no burial; I say, that an untimely birth is better than he.

That is a heavy verse with GREAT significance.

Jeremiah 25:33

King James Version

33 And the slain of the Lord shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground.

Matthew 25:46

King James Version

46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

James Version (KJV)

Luke 9:60-62

King James Version

60 Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.

61 And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house.

62 And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

Jesus is not interested in the traditions of men. Put your faith in HIM!

You either do your WILL or HIS!!!

1 Peter 3:21

King James Version

21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

James Version (KJV)

John 11:11-14

King James Version

11 These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.

12 Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well.

13 Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep.

14 Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead.

John 5:28

King James Version

28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, (Amen)

People’s perception on funerals , burials, memories in traditions.

So what comes to mind : Moses wasn’t buried exact place people know.

He was not allowed to see the promised land. (Servant of the Lord!)

“According to the final chapter of the Book of Deuteronomy, Moses ascended Mount Nebo to view the Land of Canaan, which God had said he would not enter; he died in Moab. According to Christian tradition, Moses was buried on the mountain, although his place of burial is not specified :”

Deuteronomy 34:6 King James Version

And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.

If you die in your sins you will perish!

Those things result in death! But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Romans 6:23

Verse Concepts

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

James 1:15

Verse Concepts (destroy temple and Gods destroys you)

Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin is accomplished, it brings forth death.

James 1:16

Verse Concepts

Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren.

Romans 7:13

Verse Concepts

Therefore did that which is good become a cause of death for me? May it never be! Rather it was sin, in order that it might be shown to be sin by effecting my death through that which is good, so that through the commandment sin would become utterly sinful.

Genesis 2:17

Verse Concepts

but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die.”
