Why do evil things happen to GOOD people

Seven university students are killed and four more are injured after falling from fourth floor balcony when railing collapsed in crush outside of lecture hall in Bolivia. Source

Video above: Not in English. Students fall off a balcony and fall to their death. I’ve seen various reports. Five or six dead and four injured. Where is the social distancing? Why were so many students allowed to be crammed in a balcony. Sad state of events. You can see in the video and there was pushing and shelving. Where is the manners in society gone? This is tragedy.

You see what is written in Luke 4 ²⁸ When the people in the meeting place heard Jesus say this, they became so angry ²⁹ that they got up and threw him out of town. They dragged him to the edge of the cliff on which the town was built, because they wanted to throw him down from there. ³⁰ But Jesus slipped through the crowd and got away.

In essence that is the weight of the esteem /rebellion the evil crowd of haters being mainly rebellious none believers or rebellious sinners have for Christ. Remember he was rejected and a man well acquainted with sorrow. God is love but not carnal love. God is merciful but not sinful as man.

Why does God allow bad things to happen to GOOD people? This was not managed well. SIN. When you have time get into the word of GOD and read this chapter HERE

This is the profound answer

John 10:10

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” 

Why do evil things happen to GOOD people

As written in Romans 3:9-14

⁹ What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;

¹⁰ As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

¹¹ There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

¹² They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

¹³ Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:

¹⁴ Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:

 

Now I want to take a look at the book of Genesis about Abraham having a conversation with God about sparing the city that is wicked if there are some righteous people there. 

Genesis 18    

²⁰ And the Lord said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous;

²¹ I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.

²² And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the Lord.

²³ And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked?

²⁴ Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein?

²⁵ That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?

²⁶ And the Lord said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.

²⁷ And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord, which am but dust and ashes:

²⁸ Peradventure there shall lack five of the fifty righteous: wilt thou destroy all the city for lack of five? And he said, If I find there forty and five, I will not destroy it.

²⁹ And he spake unto him yet again, and said, Peradventure there shall be forty found there. And he said, I will not do it for forty's sake.

³⁰ And he said unto him, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: Peradventure there shall thirty be found there. And he said, I will not do it, if I find thirty there.

³¹ And he said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord: Peradventure there shall be twenty found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for twenty's sake.

³² And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten's sake.

³³ And the Lord went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place.

We have to seek the righteousness of Christ. We are as filthy rags before the lord. Remember Jesus said unless a man/woman is born again they will not see/enter his kingdom. The student is never above his master but he becomes like his master. If you read the book of Ephesians Paul makes it clear. Praise and bless the lord.
