The Devils Children

Regarding/pondering John 8:44 in relation to/which I’ve spoken/written about the works of darkness particularity that the Children of Satin do. First off I will say that their fruits are evident just as written. And they that do such evil and call it good are not only under the influence of Satin/that wicked evil demonic world but they uphold the works of darkness and in turn are the enemies of the cross. They’re the enemies of Israel and the enemies of the gospel. They are the rebellious enemies of the true none pagan God of hosts/the lord Yeshua (Jesus Christ). And the devils counterfeits many falsehoods and steers people away from true salvation. So as I say John 8:44 came in focus once again.

 

^{John 8:44 “}Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.”

 What is John 8:44 about? You know people that are of God can hear his word and accept it with gladness/joy and thanks. Those that cannot hear it are not of God even if they “think” they are! So let’s see what Matthew Henry thinks in which his opinion as a Christian is noteworthy.

HENRY MATTHEW COMMENTARY

8:41-47 "Satan prompts men to excesses by which they murder themselves and others, while what he puts into the mind tends to ruin men's souls. He is the great promoter of falsehood of every kind. He is a liar, all his temptations are carried on by his calling evil good, and good evil, and promising freedom in sin. He is the author of all lies; whom liars resemble and obey, with whom all liars shall have their portion for ever. The special lusts of the devil are spiritual wickedness, the lusts of the mind, and corrupt reasoning’s, pride and envy, wrath and malice, enmity to good, and enticing others to evil. By the truth, here understand the revealed will of God as to the salvation of men by Jesus Christ, the truth Christ was now preaching, and which the Jews opposed."

Now then there is an article from 2018 I came across that made for an interesting read. I will link to it and perhaps later talk more in-depth regarding this article and what is being mentioned in this blog.

Of course this is his opinion but it is somewhat correct." 

Information regarding people’s views of John 8:44. Below a small extraction of the article.

John 8:44

"Uses of that passage and other passages that we find in the New Testament that give evidence of tensions that were there between religious communities in the first century, take them out of that historical context and use them in ways that they were never intended to be used," explains Harold Attridge, Sterling Professor of Divinity at the Yale Divinity School."

"Rather, the passage in question is a somewhat heated dialogue between Jesus and the crowds in Jerusalem. According to the story in John, people have been plotting against Jesus for some time, trying to arrest him and stone him to death. So Jesus reacts rather strongly and calls them children of the devil. According to biblical scholars, however, this statement was never meant to be showcased in isolation."

Prior I had written a blog about the Synagogue of Satin Revelation 2:9 as referenced in the gospel. And one needs to equally understand such in conjunction with John 8:44. Sure it can be taken out of context but one would also equally need to apply Paul's writing/bible passages to understand whom the Children of the devil are in the first century as well as today. There are none believers, people that are members of other religions and people that claim to be Christian that are not but actually God's enemy. Christ said my Kingdom is not of this world. He also said the Kingdom of God comes not by observation. Christ said the Kingdom of heaven suffered violence and history records it as well. The LGBT community is opposed to the gospel and refuses to repent and acknowledge the gospel so yes they are Gods enemies. No body wishes them harm and we preach the gospel to them. If they choose not true biblical salvation they may perish. The lord said the gospel will be preached to the whole world and then the end will come. What will it profit a man/or woman to gain the whole world and perish? There are Jewish people that are deceived and yes the devil does have a hold on them and blind them to the truth just as other people. 

Just look what is written in the gospel. 

2 Corinthians 6:14-17 King James Version

 ¹⁴ Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

¹⁵ And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

¹⁶ And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

¹⁷ Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

 

God chosen nation and people were/is Israel and the most of the prophets were Jewish and through that nation came the gospel and the lord Jesus Christ. Pilate liked Christ but he was under pressure and did not want an up-rising as you seem to have today in the United States and other parts of the world at times..  Someone connected to Pilate told him if he had Christ crucified he would be cursed. 

Remember the devil has been sinning since the beginning and reprobates and none believers are swimming in sin. There are people in hell right NOW! that cannot get out and wished they listened when preached too. Judgment is coming. 

There is absolutely no concord at all between light and darkness/truth and error. Learn not the way of the heathen. Jeremiah 10:2-4 There is a way that appears right to a man/woman but in the end it’s the broad way to destruction. The fear of the lord is the beginning the wisdom and wisdom is justified by her children. Sanctify them by the truth. Thy word is TRUTH. Amen

Foot Notes: How do we know what truth is. Revelation being prophecy and the true gospel without it being gutted or "even" putting Paul up against the head master being the biblical none pagan Jewish Jesus Christ. There are many pharisees in the world that take council against the lord thy God of hosts. As it is written! 9.44 pm 11.16.20

Updated 8.44 am 11.17.2020 1 Corinthians 3.7,9,11  On more independent analysis we find "7 So then neither is he that planteth anything, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. 9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building. 11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ."

And then Luke 16:14-16: "King James Version "14 And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him. 15 And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God. 16 The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it."
