They hated HIM first

 They hated Christ first and without a cause. He is pure LOVE and righteousness. He is more than a King but a prophet as well, and the eternal light that dwells in men yet men reject the light and choose darkness. Wake Up and get saved. Their cause was ignorance, pride and hatred, and perhaps status. He was the son of a carpenter Joseph. Not wordily enough. Jesus Christ is the rejected cornerstone and the "CHIEF" cornerstone. Now that he came there is no excuse as they would have been without sin if he came not. He came to seek and save the lost. They persecuted him and many others because they don't know the true God. Everyone wants heaven but like "Eve" they just cannot accept his way, life and the truth. So many are deceived and people when they go their own way will reap what they sow.  He told us about wolves in sheep's clothing. Was he right? Absolutely.  He sent the comforted that testifies of him. Is this true? Absolutely. Amen

Who was Jesus Christ referring too as he chose out of the world? Many are called but few are chosen. Perhaps the Apostles, his Disciples and all those he called out of the world. Who did he call out of the world? What did he tell Nicodemus? Unless a man is born again he will not enter the Kingdom of God/Heaven. How many were added to his body of believers on the day of Pentecost? 3000 souls were saved? Are you saved? What are you waiting for? Do it! 

And amazing things happened that prove he is the lord of that day of Pentecost as recorded in the book of Acts. 

Some people were likely chosen for specific reasons. Give him thanks and praise forever. 

He is the LAMB that takes away the sins of the fallen world.
