Dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world

"The Epistle of Paul to the Colossians, is the twelfth book of the New Testament. It was written, according to the text, by Paul the Apostle and Timothy to the Church in Colossae, a small Phrygian city near Laodicea and approximately 100 miles from Ephesus in Asia Minor." : Book of Colossians Overview - Insight for Living Ministries https://insight.org/resources/bible/the-pauline-epistles/

"Paul says that members of the church are being help captive to this inadequate theology, which he calls a philosophy and an empty deceit (Col 2:8). Colossians"
"The problem in Colossae was the same as in Galatians and other early Pauline epistles – Jews were arguing that the gentile Christians were not really “saved” since they did not keep the ceremonial law of the Jews, especially Sabbaths and food laws.  This is the “normal” Jewish critique of Gentile Christianity.  While this adequately accounts for the Jewish aspect of the Colossian heresy, there is nothing in Galatians which leads to the conclusion that worship of angels or visions were part of the Judaizer’s agenda."

What was the Problem in Colossians? | Reading Acts
https://readingacts.com/2017/10/25/what-was-the-problem-in-colossians/

So it seems like some weird teachings entered the Colossians Church/Congregation and you have to realize that this happens even today as well as some faiths said Christ is not God the creator. Think when Paul went through some places in Grease he was dealing with people with many Idols too.

"Fred Francis has argued that the Colossian church was influenced by the merkabah mysticism of early Judaism."

Acts 18:6 King James Version (KJV)
"6 And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook his raiment, and said unto them, Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean; from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles."

So why am I quoting Acts 18:6 ? See Paul went to The Gentiles after he was mis-treated by the Jews.  Then we can understand where and why Paul taught Colossians 2 14-17. God must have had a good reason as he/Paul got his doctrine not from men.

Colossians 2:14-17 King James Version (KJV)
"14
Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; 15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. 16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: 17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ."

Colossians 2:20-22 King James Version (KJV)
"20 Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, 21 (Touch not; taste not; handle not; 22 Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men".

So if you look at Colossians 2:14-17  you will see how such things were taken out of the way and nailed it to the cross. "15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days: 17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ."

We are not under the law (grace) and christians (some) meet on the first day of the week. See below...

So everyday is Gods day and if a man/woman wishes to worship on Saturday or Monday that is his/her prerogative. The lord deserves worship everyday really. Yes we are under grace but we are not to think to be enslaved by the things of the world and sin especially if we are saved. Shall sin abound. If saved and true Christians we are Dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world."

"What day, then, should Christians set aside? There is no commandment given to Christians in this area. Every day of the week belongs to God. The idea of worshiping God one day in seven, whether it be the first or the seventh, and then living for self the rest of the week is a grievous evil existing today. People often think that they can go to church one day of the week, pray and sing a few hymns piously, and then live for the Devil the rest of the time. Every day is the Lord's, and Christians owe Him their worship and devotion as much on Monday as on Saturday or Sunday."

Colossi-ans 2:16 KJV

"14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; 15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. 16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holy day, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days:”

Colossians 2

"I. The apostle expresses concern for the Colossians (v. 1-3). II. He repeats it again (v. 5). III. He cautions them against false teachers among the Jews (v. 4, v. 6, v. 7), and against the Gentile philosophy (v. 8-12). IV. He represents the privileges of Christians (v. 13-15).
And, V. Concludes with a caution against the judaizing teachers, and those who would introduce the worship of angels (v. 16-23)." Commentaries Matthew-henry

Back then I believe with the varying empires and probably the Roman empire not to mention such things like Hinduism and Babylon the city God predicted through prophets that would be destroyed which worshiped strange Gods one could see how such things could seep into the teaching of that time period. Things like Gnosticism and other things were effecting their teachings. In research there are similarities between various groups Paul sent letters to or went and taught in their synagogues on the Sabbath Day or even in their Churches of that time period. That's why he once said I am afraid your minds have been corrupted from the simplicity in Christ. This was about 53 or 54 AD probably.  You know Christ said the devil was a liar from the beginning and the father thereof. God is not petty either.

Recall Paul was dealing with radical Jewish people of that time period. He himself was one of them at one time. This was not the Christianity of today. Quite different. Mostly Jewish in nature but there were people such as from grease and other parts of the world that were following the truth gospel and they were under the old testament at that time too. These days we can do an apologetic's of the bible/scriptures but narrow is the way. The way is not the way of the world.

Narrow is the way.

Have a blessed day. Bless the lord.

What must I do to be saved

 June 10, 2020 3:33 pm

Acts 1:22

22 Beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection.

Acts 2:38 - Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Is Baptism Necessary for Salvation? (L)

You Must be born again”

There are people that will tell you that you can say a little prayer and you will be saved. There is much debate and discrepancy about this issue. Its rather simple.

It is written in Romans 10:9

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the deadthou shalt be saved

There it is in Romans 9 what to do. I would suggest you get baptized/full immersion believers' baptism as well. There are people who will tell you baptism is not a requirement and other who will tell you it is. The man/thief on the cross was not baptized although how many people have the savor of the world right there. He did! Christ commanded it and the bible makes it clear that a believer must be born again. So, I strongly suggest you get baptized. Find a street preacher or someone authorized as trained to do such. The Apostle Paul said he did not come to baptize but preach the gospel. There are examples in scripture of people being baptized shortly after their household were saved.

My suggestion is to take "yourself" salvation seriously. I suggest you have a good understanding of whom the person of Jesus Christ is and was during his earthly mission. See here:  Jesus Christ

WHY DO WE NEED SALVATION?

You need salvation because we are all born with a sin nature. We are sinful and need a savor and God provided one. I would suggest it would be helpful to know what was his/Christ's earthy mission and ministry. He Jesus Christ is the son of the living God and the true biblical Jewish Savor of the world. He said himself that before Abraham he and the father are one. He is the lamb that takes away the sins of the world and died on the cross and rose again on the 3rd day. John 3:16  He is risen and sits at the right hand of the father. He even said unless you all repent and believe in the gospel you will all likewise perish. Turn to the savor of the world. I suggest you read the gospel as well and give God your time in doing so.

AGAIN: The interesting note is the thief on the cross had not been baptized but he repented and believed in the lord Jesus Christ whom was nailed on the cross. Christ forgave him and told him he would be in paradise with him that very day. But how many people have the real Lamb of God/Christ right there in front of them. I suggest you get baptized as the bible makes it clear a man must be born again. John 3:3

SUGGESTION:

1.) I would suggestion getting full dunk water baptized as the Bible does instructs to do so.

2.) Find a biblical church/congregation or pasture/preacher/street preacher that hold true to the 66 books of the bible (kjv) and preferably is an ordained preacher evangelizing Gods word. Even Someone whom is a truly qualified that is authorized to baptize people. Preferably you want someone whom God knows and has a personal relationship with. You want full immersion water believers baptism.

EXAMPLE IN THE BIBLE

The Philippians Jailer Converted (KJV)

"25 p
About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them,

26 and suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken. And immediately the doors were opened, and everyone’s bonds were unfastened.

27 When the jailer woke and saw that the prison doors were open, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself, supposing that the prisoners had escaped.

28 But Paul cried with a loud voice, “Do not harm yourself, for we are all here.”

29 And the jailer 6 called for lights and rushed in, and trembling with fear he fell down before Paul and Silas.

30 Then he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”

31 And they saidx “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

32 And they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house.

33 And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their wounds; and he was baptized at once, he and all his family.

34 Then he brought them up into his house and set food before them. And he rejoiced along with his entire household that he had believed in God."

And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed:  Acts 16:25-27  KJV.

Guard Against False Preaching

February 28, 2020 10.29 am

The Epistle of St. Paul

Heard certain Christians at certain time's use this passage to say their way/thinking of a simplified salvation process is the right way or some may not really understand this passage. That passage does touch upon the simplicity in Christ but one needs to know what the Apostle Paul was referring to here and who these people were, let alone what had been occurring in their church gatherings. Salvation is another issue but for now I thought let's look at scripture and see what it is talking about regarding the simplicity for one that is in The Lord Jesus Christ I found one video that seems to have some profound truth and it goes in-depth. There are two parts to that video.

Again to stress we need to know who the Corinthians were and what had happened. Remember the date was a very long time ago. I will say interesting that the Apostle Paul did not charge them anything. He was truly a true Apostle and loved Christ!!

SEARCH INFO

"The first letter, probably written about 53–54 ce at Ephesus, Asia Minor, deals with problems that arose in the early years after Paul's initial missionary visit (c. 50–51) to Corinth and his establishment there of a Christian community."

"The Letter of Paul to the Corinthians, also called The Epistle of St. Paul the Apostle to the Corinthians, either of two New Testament letters, or epistles, addressed from the apostle Paul to the Christian community that he had founded at Corinth, Greece."

"The three main problem areas were: a) the church, b) the members and c) authority. Problems within the church were notably related to mission, baptism, the Lord's Supper, body life, love, worship and prophecy. Problems with members related to intellect, freedom, giving, sex, suffering and death. Feb 10, 2020"

What was the Corinthians biggest error?

"
1 Corinthians: Among the myriad problems in the Corinthian church were: claims of spiritual superiority over one another, suing one another in public courts, abusing the communal meal, and sexual misbehavior. Paul wrote to demand higher ethical and moral standards."

Watch "1 Corinthians 11 (Part 1) :1-15 Identifying with Christ"

Watch "2 Corinthians 11 (Part 2) :16-33 Identifying with Christ"

SUMMARY OVERVIEW!

You see the reason I wrote this blog entitled guard against false preaching is because I heard a fellow Christian say religion says do and Christ said done. What was done? He paid the price in full. His work/earthly mission was done and I know things have been nailed to the cross but the gospel came from God as the holy ghost moved men to record those words over a long period of time. Christ said that branches that don't obey him are cut off and cast into the fire. He said the two greatest commandments are to love your nab-our as yourselves and to love God with all your hearts, mind and soul.

The issue here that brought me to this current blog was a simplified form of salvation and a reference to particular sections in 2 Corinthians 11. And I found a video by Calvary Chapel on YouTube talking about 2 Corinthians 11 and they have part 1 and part 2. I thought the video was informative and has an in-depth look/view at this issue but it may not be perfect 100%. Particularly in part 2 he/preacher spoke about the man who came and asked Jesus what must he do to inherit eternal life. Well the fella in the video said that the rich young ruler was under the impression that he had to do works but Christ understood what he was asking and was implying you can't earn your own salvation. When I go to Matthew 19:16 particularly in the King James Bible it reads, good master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? Remember at this time they were under the law being the Mosaic law. Christ said basically why do you call me good there's only one good and it's God. He told him if he will enter into life to keep the Commandments. Isn't that works? Some call it legalism. Now I realize we are under grace but grace can be abused and shall it abound for people truly saved. Next, then Christ laid out some Commandments and the young man told him he did all that since his youth. Christ said if you want to be perfect go and sell everything you have, give the money to the poor and you will have treasures in heaven then come and follow me and the young man went away sorrowful.  He had great wealth. (YOU CANNOT SERVE TWO MASTERS) Then Christ told the disciples that a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven to his disciples. The disciples were exceedingly amazed but they wondered then who could be saved as they asked him. Jesus beheld them and said unto them, with men this is impossible but with God all things are possible. I think it takes faith to believe the word of God and to believe Christ as what he spoke are great words.

Video reference comment:

Remember Paul was dealing with some radical  pharisees type of Jews that seeped into the Corinthians church of that time period as well as the other issues mentioned above and in these videos. Just to stress the rich young man did keep the law but he needed to obey the Lord, follow him and pick up his cross. The real way is the way of the cross. It is a narrow road. Today people think because we are under grace all they have to do is believe and be saved. In other words believe, stay sinful and you will be blessed with everything you want under the sun.  Christ said repent and believe in the gospel. To repent means to change and make a complete turn around from living in sin. People are enslaved to different types of sins.

Here is a basic synopsis of what Paul taught about salvation Here

Dangers of the prosperity gospel

Wednesday February 19, 2020 10:55 : 12:44 pm
Updated : April 15, 2020 2.57 AM

THE HEART IS
ABUNDANTLY WICKED

ANOINTED BY EVIL ( GREED ) - BLIND GUIDES

April 14/2020

Justine Peters has a couple of recently produced video's within the last few weeks regarding the corona virus pandemic and how the prosperity preachers have been proven liars. Why care? Wolves as he says. As a believe I would hate to give false hope to people suffering. God is not a spectacle. Actually the 1st video he did called "A word of caution about discernment" should be watched first to set this one up HERE. Here is his current video which he spent quite a long time putting together. Why does this exist? In other words why is there such evils of deception in the world. "Vanity & Show-hood and MONEY" People like a show and are easily fooled. Even those whom do such can be manipulated into such a thing as their hearts can easily be wicked. God is so holy beyond out capabilities to understand such that we think his healing's can be present on a stage to be made a mockery of. There may be some that can heal if such a gift is still present but it would not be done in such a spectacle way. Evangelize the word. Preach the word. We live in a fallen sinful world that has numerous idols in front of the real God including many other Gods. So many people HATE the true gospel and are so willing to follow anything but! Christ said repent or perish. He is real but he is HOLY. We need to submit ourselves to the gospel of the lord Jesus Christ and turn from our worldly ways. Salvation is of the lord and not of man. Thank you Justine. Preach the word.

April 14, 2020

Pasture & Preacher Justine Peters recently did a video as many people are staying home because of the corona virus talking about/exposing the prosperity and word of faith preachers/movement and their false miracles. He says in other video's that the reason he does this is because its important to save/rescue the lost sheep from the wolves/false prophets as Christ did tell us about this that in the end times this would be so even more. God is not a speckle.  The bible already prophesied/told us everything we are seeing. Not only that but history repeats its self and we live in a fallen world that has violent weather patterns. Christ said there would be earth quakes,. pestilences and wars/rum-ours of wars in the end times. This is an extensive video Justine has produced recently.

The Modern Prophets and Faith Healers Utterly Destroyed by COVID 19

The Word of Faith prosperity movement? Is seen as evil and rotten to the core. Bless real men of God like Paul Washer, and Justin Peters and others that stand with the true biblical Jewish Jesus Christ of the true none prosperity gospel. It's not me or other born again christians that in righteous judgment of despair
that divides such people but themselves when they can be as snakes or even charlatans. Blind Guides living in luxury making money of cultist religion just seems very wrong. Remember Christ Jesus (Yeshua) ; (Savor of his people) had no where to lay his head. He was mocked, rejected, hated and a man well antiquated with sorrow. Do such people want others to bear their own crosses? Hell does not discriminate and it is not a place to go.  Your heart is far from the Jewish biblical Jesus Christ if you can manipulate people in any ways as reported concerning this subject matter. When it comes to such a matter we need to be careful because there is a verse in the bible that is a little troublesome. That is found in Acts 5: 1-11. A certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession and kept back part of the price. They lied to the holy spirit and the man Ananias gave up his ghost as he dropped dead and was buried. Same thing happened to his wife three hours later as the Apostle Peter questioned her. "And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things."

The congregations of these types of mega churches teaching a prosperity gospel have quite a task and responsibility to God and, even the people that gives them money. That is quite a massive responsibility because they are dealing with deity and I wonder if they really know what that means.

Wake up. Open those clogged ears.

"Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. . . . No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money. (Matt. 6:19–24)"

You know I recall someone writing a book who was a pasture/preacher and he talked about numbers instead of pasturing the flock. Think I heard him on a live radio show one day. Sometimes "they" claim thousands were saved. Show me the money??  Where is your treasure?
How evil the heart really is. Watched some of these video's below and I have seen investigating reporting on prosperity preachers which is NOT the gospel. You taint the whole flock when you do this. The fear of the lord is the beginning of wisdom.

Let me tell you if you have ears to hear as since the day of Pentecost to 2020 in present day hundreds and maybe thousands of people became born again Christians so how come hospitals around the world are full of sick people with cancer and all sorts of diseases.  The life in paradise is where things are made perfect but not on/in a fallen earth/world. Matthew 19:16-22  The rich young ruler/man was unwilling to pick up "HIS" cross. Riches were just too good and comfortable to follow Christ as he gave his own life as a ransom for many.

TESTIMONY

"I believe many church goers would be shocked if they could comprehend the real attitude their pastor has towards them. From my experience with both the cults and these money focused churches, it is my impression that instead of being looked upon with love, these pastors see their congregation as farm animals to be milked."

Not all are like this I would hope

Why are people poor and sick? They will tell you because the people brought it upon themselves and they lack faith but not the faith to gives them money and make promises that go beyond scripture. Evil is evil and there will be a judgment.

Now I've heard some say Christ paid for original sins, past and all present sins. In other words yesterdays, today's and tomorrows sins. Yes that is what people need to hear that follow lies and are in a sea of sins and rebellion. They will think why should I change everything was nailed to the cross. Christ said REPENT and believe in the gospel. He also told Nicodemus if a man is not born again he cannot see the Kingdom of God. Shall sins abound? Romans 6.1
 Mark 9.35 KJV

"And sat down, and called the twelve, and saith unto them, If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all."

This World is ABUNDANTLY wicked.

"Biblically, Word of Faith / Prosperity theology is extremely easy to disprove. The apostle Paul was one of Christianity's most devout, loyal, wise, and committed adherents. And yet, he suffered poverty, persecution, and imprisonment (2 Corinthians 11:16–33). Paul actually asked God—more than once—to remove some affliction he was suffering, and God's response was "no" (2 Corinthians 12:7–9)." Reference link 1
WHO STANDS FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS ANYMORE?

You know I've written about those things in Biblical Christianity that are to be examined by the gospel weight and insight. You could say scrutinized by spiritual discernment. And so I am looking at prosperity preachers herein as I have in the past. I've done some research and I can see what it truly is as it goes beyond scripture and takes things out of context but not in the general aspect but in the manipulation of the text to suite the evils of "wants" and that is money which is an idol and people expect God to give them things now. I realize there needs to be faith and people blame Satin for everything although people are wicked. Sure there is such as things as blessings and God does have a council. People have trials and tribulations and Christ told us about that. So first I am posting some video references and some information references. There is "even" an apologetics for such a thing. First on the list let’s try and see why there are so many Churches/Christian Denominations with varying opinions and teachings. Not indorsing anyone but I thought this question is rather interesting.

As believers in Christ they say hundreds of people are taken advantage of and this is wrong. We need to know what the gospel of the lord Jesus Christ is really. Christ said there is a cross to bear. Judas sold out his master being Christ. Christ chased out the money changers in the temple. You cannot serve two masters.. Actually I've got an older blog on this issue HERE.

See here: Bible verses these wicked money hungry evil doers wish did not exist! Bible Verses Prosperity Preachers Wish Didn’t Exist

Watch "Why Are There So Many Churches?"

As of this video it really relates the truth very well. There is an article “Who high-jacked the messiah” that has a lot of information as well. Not only is this video astonishing in relating the truth but what happens is when something is very close to the truth as men have a fallen nature things can be distorted too. Yeshua (Jesus) was a Jew and the men he chose were to. They went to a temple/synagogue of their day and kept the Sabbath. They were well acquainted with the Jewish customs and heritage.  Now then so in biblical Christianity people can add things to it that are in appropriate for example such as a person receiving revelation in a cave. We must not add or take away from the gospel. Jesus is deity and he is the word as in the beginning was the word.  On the day of Pentecost most if not all of the ministry started was Jewish and recall they were  apposed by the Sanhedrin Syn-agog religious outfit of Christs day.  We are not under the law today as we are under the NT.

See below as we are not under law but grace. True Christians are not pagan and they don't worship the sun on Sunday. It appears we are not to judge either way for the Sabbath. See below scripture.

He paid the debt in full!!!

It is to no fault that when one is to give by Christ’s own words to let not your right hand know what the left one does. (Mathew 6.3) He said when you have a “party” (Modern term) or celebration invite the broken, homeless, lame, rejected, crippled, etc. How many people think of “I, me, myself & I” and all the worldly things that the devil Satin is attached to and be them not of God but of the world?

Romans 1:25  (KJV)
"25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshiped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever." Amen.

As Christ Said Repent or Perish! The love of money is wicked and evil. Please refrain from being grace abusers that serve two masters.
